Dead Deer Removal in Reading
Most people get about half a minute into this one before they put it down again. A grown deer is past what a single person can drag, past what fits in a pickup bed without help, and not something the trash cart will lawfully take.
Access sets the price, not the animal
Deer arrive at roughly the same weight everywhere. What changes between one Berks job and the next is the ground in between. Twenty feet off a paved drive in the city and a hundred yards down a soft farm lane are the same carcass and completely different work.

- Whether the address is yours or you are calling on somebody else's behalf

An animal hit near a road often travels before it drops, and where it comes to rest is what decides whose problem it is. Neither a road crew nor the Game Commission comes onto private ground to collect one.

The rut and the hunting calendar overlap, and between them they put more deer onto private land than any other season. Anything to do with tags or reporting requirements is a Game Commission matter, not a question for whoever removes the carcass.
