What a Removal Costs Here
No rate card sits on this page, and that is a decision rather than an omission. Prices belong to the operator, who sets them once they know the situation. Publishing a number nobody agreed to would be inventing one.
What is worth your time is knowing which parts of your situation actually move it, so the call is short and the figure is not a surprise.
The four variables
Species and size
Almost entirely a question of weight. Anything up to raccoon size is one person and a bag. A deer is two people, straps, and somewhere to take it that municipal trash collection will not accept.
The position it is in
Sitting on open grass is the easy end of this. Wedged under decking, down behind a retaining wall or up above a ceiling means the work starts as a confined-space problem and only then becomes a carrying one.
Distance from where a truck stops
Rarely mentioned unprompted, and it swings the figure further than anything else on this list. In Berks the difference between backing into an alley and walking a rain-soaked farm lane is most of the labor.
Elapsed time
Days matter. Whatever it has been resting on may need to leave with it, and something that has been out there since last week is not the same handling problem as something found at breakfast.
Two things that price differently
Looking for something is not the same transaction as picking something up. When nobody knows where the animal is yet, the search itself is part of what you are buying, and it does not cost what a visible carcass costs. When the search dead-ends at an intact plastered wall, there is no honest sale to make at all, for reasons the smell page sets out.

Getting to a figure quickly
Open with the four variables above and most jobs can be settled in that one conversation, without anybody making a trip out to assess it. The thing that causes a quote to be revised afterward is nearly always a guess offered as a fact on the first call.
